The Industrial AI Agent Manifesto: Governance Requirements for Trustworthy Autonomous Operations

This presentation introduces the Industrial AI Agent Manifesto, a framework that establishes ten laws for trustworthy autonomous operations and makes the case for digital twins as the proven governance layer capable of meeting these requirements across healthcare, manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and beyond.

Pieter van Schalkwyk, CEO, XMPro

AI‑Powered Digital Twins: From Buzzword to Business Value

This session explores how Intelligent Digital Twins, powered by model-based simulation, data-driven evidence, and enterprise collaboration, turn AI from experimental pilots into trustworthy, scalable capabilities that improve decision-making, compliance, and operational performance across complex industrial value chains.

Philippe Delannoy, Industrial Equipment Industry Value Consultant Director, Building Equipment, Dassault Systèmes

Digital Twins in Complex Systems : Bringing Context and Causal Models into Digital Twins for Decision-Making Support

This presentation highlights the opportunity to extend Digital Twins by integrating sociotechnical context and causal reasoning. Drawing on concepts from the Social Construction of Technology (SCOT) and Causal Inference, it proposes a shift from purely predictive models towards context-aware causal systems. By explicitly representing interpretation, counterfactuals, and causal assumptions, Digital Twins can better capture the dynamics of complex systems and support more robust, transparent, and adaptive decision-making.

Dr. Dennis Dokter, Smart Cities Lead, Manager Data and Insights, Nexus Leeds
